One of those twittery things

I decided to make one of those twitter things today, due to being extremely booored! So if anyone is interested it's at www.twitter.com/demonkeyz.

As for video tutorials I hopefully will be recording some more soon, unfortunately I've had a cold for like 2-3 weeks (A hell of a long time I know) so when I try to record, I cough every 2 minutes =[. I'm taking suggestions on my next ajax video by the way, since I'm running out of ideas. Although I may talk about the awesomeness that is offsetHeight and offsetWidth!

Oh and does anyone else love Animal Crossing games? Because for some reason, I do! I really wanna get the new one for Wii! Hopefully I'll be able to pre-order it for the December 4 release, so fingers crossed :).

This post may seem a little more personal and laid back compared to my others, and it's mainly because I'm kinda converting this place as just my personal stuff. And all my vids will be moved to developermonkey.com and everything professional-ish will be put there.

Damn Hackers!

Well my server kinda hates me... first the whole bandwidth problem for 3+ days, and now some Turkish guy with nothing else to do in his life hacked the server. Which apparently caused my index file to be writeable by anyone, so it caused a 500 error. So sorry for those who got that recently, but as you can see it's fine.

I got an email requesting me to record some new C++ vids, and I'm just letting everyone know that I'm planning on releasing new videos for each series in the next week, so look forward to that ^^

See ya! de.monkeyz

Server Update: It seems that the hacking has rendered ftp useless. So I have no idea how long that will take to sort out, but I do still have an account on www.javavideotutes.com so I could use that.

Embed Code and Server is fixed

Well first of all! The server is all fine and dandy now. It turns out my account got linked onto my hosts main domain, which he set to 10GB of bandwidth. So it made my account get the bandwidth error even though my account was set to 50GB!

And I've just added a plug-in to the JW media player I use, so now each tutorial has embed code so you can add the video on your own website if you want to. Although it'd be nice if you link to the site as well :)

Take care, de.monkeyz

Notice: I've had an email saying the embed code is messing up when he views the tutorials. If this happens to anyone else please let me know, as it seems fine for me.

Server Issues

If you haven't noticed at some point, the server is going a bit weird, it's saying I have capped my bandwidth usage even though I have 40GB left 0.o, and all my sub domains and add-on domains are working fine.. soooo for now I have the site loaded at www.developermonkey.com as well as www.deathmonkeyz.com. Unfortunately the videos aren't available on that version. But the site is accessible from time to time, it could just be me but if not there's a way to access the site.

Sorry about that, de.monkeyz

Edit: Well my host said he's sorted it all out, so I guess it is. But just in case the site will still be on that other domain whilst I develop the site for that.

New AJAX Video - The Awesome JSON!

Well I just recorded and uploaded my newest tutorial on JSON (JavaScript Object Notation). It's awesome, and I love it! I hope you guys will like it too. It totally changes the way PHP and JavaScript communicate with each other!

Have fun, de.monkeyz
